Family support

Throughout the radiation therapy process, patients can be accompanied by a loved one or a trusted person.

This person may attend the medical consultation for diagnosis as well as the Care Support Session (or paramedical consultation).

Close relatives often feel powerless and may struggle to find their role in the treatment process. These consultation sessions are designed to address their concerns and provide information that will enable them to offer appropriate support to the patient during treatment.

However, the presence of loved ones is not allowed during the planning scan or in the treatment room, but they can wait in the designated waiting area. If there are any questions, the paramedical team is available to assist during the session.
