Améthyste 16 Association

The Améthyste 16 Association is a non-profit organization established in 2006, that supports patients and healthcare teams in the management of cancer-related conditions.
It is chaired by Dr. Philippe LEFEVRE, oncologist-radiotherapist at CeRAC.

The association's mission is to:

  • Optimize the quality of life and care for cancer patients, whether before (the diagnosis phase), during, or after treatment.
  • Welcome, listen, inform, support, guide, and offer a variety of activities/workshops, including discussion groups, sessions of sophrology, relaxation, music therapy, floral art, physical activities, and cultural activities, for patients, caregivers, the patient’s family, and patient associations.
  • Organize and promote prevention, awareness, and educational events related to cancer.
  • Organize and participate in charity and fundraising events.
  • Fund equipment, materials, and supplies related to cancer treatment or supportive care.

The association is committed to respecting freedom of conscience and prohibits any form of discrimination.
